DOING IT RIGHT / Daphnis and Chloe

Is it possible to make someone love an ingredient without tasting it?

In our overtly-connected world, it is. Take a young girl's honest words, a beautifully-shot video, the growing interest in quality organic food, and the opportunities given to small entrepeneurs by crowdfunding websites like Kickstarter. It sure worked with me. 

The company is called Daphnis and Chloe, and wants to bring Greek culinary herbs to the kitchens of European households and restaurants. Not just any herbs, but the finest qualities that were accurately selected after 2 years of sourcing, tasting and travelling. 

Currently reaching its end, in less than a month the campaign reached and exceed its goal. I look forward to trying the sample I will receive as a backer and to buying the herbs in the main city shops (certainly London, maybe Milan soon?).

The packaging was designed by Omar Sosa, co-founder of Apartamento and currently art director of Casamica.
